Ikiama Nukuri, in collaboration with the Achuar Nationality of Ecuador and the Macuma parish GAD, trains indigenous women to develop a culturally appropriate, empowered, and sustainable healthcare model.
Service Protocols
The value of our program lies in its approach, maintaining indigenous traditions and knowledge about childbirth and working alongside indigenous women. In order to give them the option to receive safe and culturally appropriate maternity care.
Our main objective is to identify possible health complications through a basic medical check-up, to guide indigenous women and their babies, and to access pre- and post-partum care.
